Dr. Nozik received his BChE from Cornell University in 1959 and his PhD in Physical Chemistry from Yale University in 1967. Before joining NREL in 1978, then known as the Solar Energy Research Institute (SERI), he conducted basic research at the Allied Chemical Corporation and the American Cyanamid Corporation. Dr. Nozik became an Adjoint (1985) and then Research (1976) Professor in the Department of Chemistry, University of Colorado, Boulder (UCB), He has established a leading position in the interdisciplinary fields of photoelectrochemistry, semiconductor-molecule interfaces, quantum size effects, hot electron transfer and cooling dynamics in semiconductor quantum wells, quantum dots, quantum wires, and nanostructures, multiple exciton generation (MG) in nanostructures, and applications of this science to improve the power conversion efficiency of solar photon conversion technologies. He has published more than 280 peer-reviewed papers, proceedings, and book chapters in these fields and in the related fields of photocatalysis, heterogeneous catalysis, the optical, magnetic, and electrical properties of solids, and Mössbauer spectroscopy. He has been cited more than 51,150 times (H-index = 101), and presented more than 380 invited, plenary, and keynote talks. Dr. Nozik has managed a large group of scientists engaged in basic and applied research on the direct photoconversion of light into solar fuels, chemicals, and electricity, and on the optical and electronic properties and applications of nanostructures. Dr. Nicolas Abatzoglou is Professor, ex-Head of the Department of Chemical & Biotechnological Engineering of the Université de Sherbrooke. He is Adjunct Professor at the University of Saskatchewan. He has been inducted as Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering and Fellow of the Engineering Institute of Canada. He is a specialist in Process Engineering involving particulate systems in reactive and non-reactive environments. He is co-founder of the company Enerkem Technologies, precursor of Enerkem, a spin-off commercializing technologies in the field of energy from renewable resources. He has received many academic and professional awards, and he is a world-renowned researcher and technology transfer expert. His scientific production includes 200+ publications, reviews, conferences, keynotes, plenaries and invited lectures, patents and three book chapters.

Richard Saykally is the Class of 1932 Distinguished Professor Emeritus at the University of California-Berkeley. Born in Rhinelander, Wisconsin and educated at UW-Eau Claire and UW-Madison, Saykally has been a professor at the University of California, Berkeley since 1979. A co-author of over 400 publications that have been cited over 50,000 times (H index > 100), the recipient of over 80 honors and awards from 15 different countries, Saykally is a member of the National Academy of Sciences and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and has received the E.O. Prof. Friedrich Grimm was born in Stuttgart in 1954. He studied architecture at the University of Stuttgart and at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago in 1980. After having finished his studies in 1981, he worked as an employed architect and later on temporarily joined the scientific staff of the Institute for Building Construction at the University of Stuttgart. During his practice as a freelanced architect, since 1989 he took part in competitions and completed several multifamily houses in southern Germany. Due to a series of books, which he has written in the field of steel construction, edited by Ernst & Sohn in Berlin (2003), and one the subject of one family homes, edited by Callwey in Munich (2006), he was nominated a professor honorary in 2009 by the faculty one, for architecture and urban design at the university of Stuttgart. In 2016, he founded the RES- Institute as a completely independent think tank in the field of renewable energies. Since then he works with passion and endurance on projects matching the RES-Institutes obligation to provide blueprints for a friendly climate on earth. Several patents in the field of concentrated solar thermal systems led him into the field of optics where he invented a wide angel sensor, recording light signals with infinite depth of field in real time. Among his inventions there is also a new achromatic lens focusing light of different wave lengths, even x-rays. His latest invention relates to a quantum mechanical device which, making use of the electronic spin of quantum particles with spin number 1/2, to create a fluid dynamic equilibrium within an electromagnetically enclosed plasma of a fusion reactor, by a regular change of the spin's angular momentum.

Professor Jianlei Niu received his BEng and MSc degrees from Tsinghua University and PhD from Delft University of Technology. He also had an experience of an R&D engineer with a utility manufacturer in UK during his tenure as a lecturer with Tsinghua University, researching on clean coal-combustion technologies. In the period from Feb 12, 2017 to Feb. 9, 2019, he was a Professor of Building, Environment and Energy, a conjoint appointment of School of Architecture, Design and Planning and School of Civil Engineering, The University of Sydney. His technology contributions are in a broad area linking thermal and fluid sciences with building environment, and his current research topics include indoor environmental quality, thermal comfort, thermal energy storage, HVAC and urban microclimate. He is currently leading a RGC Theme-based-research-scheme(TRS) project "Healthy and Resilient Cities with Pervasive LoCHs', aiming to develop a simulation-based-optimisation(SBO) method to create localised outdoor thermal-comfort hubs(LoCHs) by design in the urban and estate planning stage. He is the editor-in-chief of the Elsevier journal Energy and Buildings. Dr. Rohit Mehra is presently working as Professor in the Department of Physics at Dr. BR Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar (An Institute of National Importance, Ministry of Education, Govt. of India). Dr. Mehra has published more than 190 SCI Research Papers in different International Journals of repute and has delivered Invited Talks in various countries, including the U.S.A., UK, Canada, Japan, Egypt, France, Thailand, etc., and served as a member of multiple Organizing Committees of International Conferences of repute. He has supervised 18 Ph.D. Research Scholars and more than 50 P.G. Dissertation and 07 Research Scholars are pursuing their Ph.D. under his supervision. Presently, he is an active reviewer for many International and National Journals in the field of Radiation Dosimetry. He collaborates with a working group at NIRS, Japan, for inter-comparison activities for radon and thoron measurements. Prof. Shunli Wang is a Doctoral Supervisor, Academic Dean, Academic Leader of the National Electrical Safety and Quality Testing Center, Academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Provincial Senior Overseas Talent, Provincial level scientific and technological talents, Academic and Technical Leader of China Science and Technology City, and top 2% of top scientists in the world, who is an authoritative expert in renewable energy research. His research interests include modeling, state estimation, and safety management for energy storage systems. 56 projects have been undertaken, including the projects from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Provincial Science and Technology Department. 258 research papers have been published (Research Interest Score: 11547; Citations: 3167; h-index: 29). 53 intellectual property rights have been applied, of which 23 authorizations have been approved. 9 books have been published by famous publishers such as Elsevier and IET. 23 honorary titles or awards have been achieved, such as young scholars and leading experts of innovative talent teams. Taimoor Khan (SM-17, M-14, GSM-11) awarded his PhD Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from NIT Patna, India in 2014. Dr. Khan joined the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, NIT Silchar, India as an Assistant Professor in the same year and presently he is working as an Associate Professor in the same department. Before joining NIT Silchar, he served different organizations for more than 14 years including Delhi Technological University for around three years. He also worked as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand during July-December 2016 and Visiting Researcher at Queen’s University Canada in September-October 2019. His active research interests include Ambient RF Energy Harvesting, Wireless Power Transfer, Ultra-Wideband Antenna Technologies, Electromagnetic Bandgap Structures, Dielectric Resonator Antennas and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Techniques for Modeling and Optimization of Electromagnetics Problems. He is the recipient of IETE Professor SVC Aiya Memorial Award for the year 2020 for his Pioneering Research Contributions in the field of Electromagnetics & Microwave Engineering and the recipient of ISTE Syed Sajid Ali National Award for the year 2022 for Outstanding Research Work in the Field of Renewable Energy. He has successfully guided seven Ph.D. Theses and has published 80 International Journal Articles, 60 International Conference Articles, 03 Indian Patents, and 06 Authored/Edited Technical Research Books. He has successfully completed 01 SERB Funded Major Research Project and 02 Minor Research Funded Projects of MHRD and AICTE and presently Executing 02 International Collaborative SPARC and VAJRA projects with Queen’s University Canada and California State University, Northridge, USA, respectively. He is a Fellow of IEI, Fellow of IETE, Fellow of ATMS, Life Senior Member WAMS, Senior Member of IEEE, IEEE AP Society, IEEE MTT Society and URSI Belgium and Life Member of ACES. Prof. Hanshen Lireceived his B.S.E. degree in Electric Power Engineering and Automation from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), Shanghai, China, in 2016, and the M.E. degree in Information, Production and Systems Engineering from Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan in 2017, and M.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from SJTU in 2019, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering in North China Electric Power University (NCEPU), Beijing, China in 2023. Prof. Li has been a researcher at China Electric Power Planning and Engineering Institute (EPPEI) since 2023. His research interests include planning and operation of active distribution networks, where Li has published 50+papers with over 200 total citations. He has been an editorial board of Journal of Energy Science and Technology since 2023, and also member of IEEE, IEEJ, CSEE and CES.

He is an Assistant Professor (Lecturer) at Department of Marine Engineering, Vietnam Maritime University, Haiphong City, Vietnam. His expertise spans system architecture, full stack development, and cloud implementations, for B2B, B2C and IoT solutions. His journey began with pioneering SCADA systems and introducing the Object Interaction Diagram in the 1990s. Progressing to contemporary IoT solutions that utilize cloud services, data science, and digital twins for advanced smart grid management, Kyriakos is proven of successfully handling innovative technology, leading cross-functional teams worldwide and applying rigorous software engineering principles to deliver pragmatic solutions that synergize industrial innovation with academic insights. His strong background includes IoT platforms, smart grid technologies, distributed systems, cloud integration, data engineering, machine learning, billing systems, and digital twins.
